*Thank you**It's my Birthday**More Christmas Pix*

Have to give a big shout out of thank you's to all those wonderful ladies that ordered from me. I hope you enjoy your goodies for many years. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments from each one of you. ((((HUGS)))

Yep I'm a December baby some 40something years ago!!! I won't tell you how many cause quite frankly I quit keeping track after 40. Oh and the 40's have not been good to me physically either but thats a whole other story. I am thankful and blessed to have so many wonderful family members and friends wishing me a Happy Birthday! So yeah!!!Happy Birthday to me. Now let me show you what hubby got for me. I think he got tired of me bugging him for the past umpteen years about it.
The latest Cricut!!! I can't wait to try it out!!!
I also had to get myself alittle something from a friend of mine, Brenda. I've been collecting her Santa's for years and this year I requested one dressed in green.
Isn't he divine looking? I'm already thinking of next years color. Either a brown or blue one!!!
Now onto some random Christmas decorating around the homestead.
Here's one of my many pillows I've been making. It reads The Ickes Homestead...and if you are wondering what an Ickes is....thats my last name! I am having so much fun with these. I've done Merry Christmas, Santa Claus, Comfort & Joy and am starting on some new ones for Spring and everyday. If interested in any...just shoot me and email:-)
The tree in this picture used to be covered with glittered fruit, but after some surgery this is what it looks like now. Oh and it smells wonderful. Lots of cinnamon and cloves covering this lucky lil guy. Very prim indeed.
Tried to get a picture of this without lights cause it looks so darn purdy at night, but didn't turn out very well. So here's one with the lights on too.

This is last years Santa that I got from Brenda...another great one!
The whole kitchen window where I enjoy doing my dishes...LOL...at least I have something nice to look at!
Sheep and candle holder made by my dear friend, Kathy.
Our tree....
Tree in the diningroom filled with pears, felted icicles and a partridge. Love this....so simple
This charcoal print was found in my hubbies grandparents attic. It is a beautiful drawing, some damage to the frame but that gives it character I say!
Another shot without lights...
And this lil fellow keeps me company next to my bed.
So that's it for now!
I hope everyone has a Joyous Christmas and Blessed 2012. I've met many wonderful people and have made lifelong friends on my blog. Here's hoping to another wonderful year and many more friendships. Thanks to all of you for visiting my blog and for leaving me a comment. I really do appreciate all the encouraging words.
Huge hugs to all of you!

  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERESA....what a great gift from your husband...and Brenda makes some gorgeous things doesn't she? I have a couple of her creations.

Your decorating is wonderful and what I'd give for a nice window like that in my kitchen...well, I have the window over the sink...I guess it's the large 'sill' to put things on that caught my eye.

    Merry Christmas
