The title says it all....it's official. I am now the mom of a 9th grader and a 5th grader! Where did all the time go? I'm not ready for Luke to be in high school and for this coming year to be Izzy's last year in Elementary school. Seems like yesterday when we brought them home from the hospital. Now Luke is way taller than me and almost as big as Art. Izzy will pass me up soon too...I'm only 5ft. Today it really hit me that time doesn't stand still for anyone...cherish each day with your child and enjoy your summer.
Hugs ♥*T

Just seems like yesterday when my kids were that age, now they are 33 and 29, were does the time go, enjoy it while you can. And now I am a new grandma, wow I was just 29 yesterday. Make some memories, it will last you a lifetime. Vicky
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, Congrat. to Luke and Izzy. Time flies for us Moms and Nanas but bet Luke can't wait for his driver's permit and Izzy will look forward to Junior High. Wish we could make them see how NOW should and will be the happiest and most carefree times of their lives. Enjoy them as all have said. My Baby is now 28 and I have a 3 year old granddaughter. The older I get the faster time goes by.
ReplyDeleteThey sure grow up quick! My daughters each have a child of their own and it's still hard to think of them as "women" rather than my "little girls"!
ReplyDeleteTheresa you are right... treasure each moment for time sure does not wait on anyone. Congrats to Luke and Izzy .My baby is now 23 and it seems like I was brought him home from the hospital yesterday.Hugs,Jen
