Wow! I am loving all the displays you gals have come up with. This was such a grat idea Misi. They are so inspiring! I haven't done anything fancy with mine, but here they are....

Still decorating!

Did some more decorating today and snapped a few shots of the Dining room. Tweaked some other displays and will have to get some photos tomorrow of them. Cleaned lots of stuff out as I was decorating. Can't believe how my tastes change from year to year.

Fall goodies

Finally got in the attic to get out my totes of fall prims. I've discovered things that I will no longer be using. Here's some photos of it all laid out on my couch. It never fails that I always want something new and more prim from year to year. So I'm going to clean out as I decorate, I will be listing things on my selling blog if anyone is interested. Happy decorating everyone. I'm eating candy corn and burning a fall candle to put me in the mood and the weather is beautiful here in PA.

Finally!!!

I have been wanting shutters on my house FOREVER!!! Don't know how or why but hubby took me to Lowes today and let me pick them out. So what do ya think? I LOVE them. Now the house looks finished, except for restaining the deck. The stain we picked is called coffee. Can't wait to see what it all looks like once its finished. Hope you all are staying cool. Signs of Fall are coming to my home!

So I've been gone for awhile and just haven't had much to say. I've been visiting all your blogs and been keeping up with happenings in blogland. Since the passing of my Dad in July, I've just been trying to deal with all the emotional "stuff" so I'm hoping to get back to a somewhat "normal" routine so just bear with me.

Today I brought out some of my fall goodies and did alittle decorating. I am also cleaning out some things so I will post those items on my selling blog for those of you that might be interested.

Trying to do a more simple decor for fall this year. I haven't gotten my Halloween things out yet cause hubby was rolling his eyes at me saying its not even fall yet! He just doesn't get it!







Can't wait to see everyone else's prim decor as I'm sure there will be lots of tweaking going on at my house. Hope to finish decorating Friday cause kids will be in school and hubby will be at work. I want to get finished before I start preschool next Tuesday.

Isn't this just the cutest lil' prim doll. I got this from Donna at Sweetprairiedwellings. She makes the cutest things and is such a sweet prim gal.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'm asking that you keep my Parents in your prayers. Dad has been suffering with Alzheimers for over 9 years now and is finally coming to the end of his journey on this earth. It has been a long difficult journey but I know he will be at peace soon. Me...I'm trying to keep busy....

Woo Hoo!!! Got my winnings from Misi!!!

Well can I just tell ya that for this being my first giveaway win it was SUPER!!!! Misi blessed me with awesome goodies! I've been playing around with them all day and I'm sure they will eventually find a good home but for now I'm having so much fun with all of it.

The wonderful colonial papers and brown feather were in my goodie box from 1890gablehousemusings They look awesome on my new colonial desk.

More goodies from Misi! I'm telling you it was like Christmas at my house and the box smelles so yummy, even my dog was helping me! Looky here! Simpler Thymes sign, a firkin, and a kewl silouette box. She also included a mini basket with sweet annie which hasn't found a home yet and a wonderful prim card thanking me for following her. Thank you Misi for such a super giveaway!!!

Now for some of you that don't see my photos on webshots...I thought I'd share some of my Laundry room displays. So here they are. Let me know what ya think. Alot of my prims in here are hand-me-downs from my parents which of course belonged to my grandparents. So all the more meaningful to me.
