some new prims for me!!!

Good evening friends! Hope you all had a wonderful day today. The sun was shining for awhile here but there was a nip in the air. I am so ready for one good snowstorm here in Central PA. My mom says they are going to be getting more snow this weekend, she lives in southern PA and they have had their fair share of snow this year. I want it to snow to kill some of those germs. My daughter came home from school this afternoon with 101.7 temperature so guess I'll be staying home from work tomorrow. Hopefully I'll do some more sewing. Speaking of sewing here's my creations for today. I needed some hearts for my new Longaberger basket and I've been on a prairie doll craze lately so I made this one for myself. She is sitting on top of a glass candle holder that I picked up at the thrift store. Well, guess that's all that is new this evening, maybe I'll have something new to show you tomorrow.

Decluttering stinks!

I'm having a really hard time simplifying my home. I thought it would be easy to just get rid of "stuff". Boy was I wrong!!! This past weekend I spent the better part of Sunday rearranging my displays. Well, like most women I tend to start out strong then putter out in the end. I also am one of those "multi-taskers" who thinks they can rip and tear everything in the house apart and then put it all back in some semblance of order. So needless to say here are some of my new displays with my most favorite prims.

busy, busy, busy

Well friends I started sewing again today after work...now mind you there was housework to be done but that had to wait while the creative juices were flowing! I made simple prairie dresses today! Eight of them to be exact. They look so cute. Now tomorrow I will go out in the yard and collect sticks to hang them from. Pizza night tonight everyone. Nothing fancy just store bought. I know its probably cheaper to make from scratch! Tomorrow will be leftover lasagna and salad.
